The Williamsport Home is looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee benefits, recruitment and development of our experienced team. The ideal candidate will be able to create strong and long-lasting relationships with employees, understand the complexities of employment laws and be capable of evaluating employees' performance and strengths. This position will also require excellent interpersonal skills, and you'll need to be able to perform multi-tasking duties, such as onboarding, training and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a diverse workforce
  • Be knowledgeable in a variety of labor laws and employment regulations
  • Manage the recruiting process; including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Work with Paycom Payroll & HR Information System
  • Manage the training, development, and performance management for staff.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations
  • Reviews and submits all worker’s compensation reports and prepares OSHA 300 logs
  • Coordinates completion of staff paperwork and maintains on-going personnel file requirements, ensuring confidentiality of employee records
  • Processes all unemployment compensation claims
  • Assists in development and administration of all employee benefit programs
  • Manages the “We Care” customer service database and timely resolves employee issues
  • Facilitates The Williamsport Home’s Recruitment Committee and designs and implements recruiting and retention strategies to remain competitive
  • Administers on-site drug screening protocols
  • Monitors staff attendance and initiates disciplinary action for supervisors
  • Ensures all pre-boarding documents and required health assessment forms are complete prior to job placement
  • Helps resolve employee relation issues and work related concerns
  • Maintains and updates HR policies and applicable employee handbook(s)

Qualifications:

A minimum of three to five years human resources generalist experience is required.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong Knowledge of recruitment strategies, healthcare trends, and abiiity to develop recruitment network of resources

Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations, personnel administration, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, recruiting and selection, training and development.
