The primary function of this position is to serve as a resident advocate so as to ensure each residents psychosocial, spiritual needs and wishes are met and maintained from the time of admission through discharge. The functions are provided in accordance with all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations which govern the facility, and, as directed by the Social Services Director so as to ensure accurate rights and needs of each resident is met on a continuum.
