So, what is nicer than some cheese and crackers and a glass of wine outside in a beautiful pavilion on a nice green lawn with lots of friends? Not too much! The Travel Committee strikes again!! Another fun (and tasty) fund raiser.

One of the unique aspects of The Williamsport Home Apartments is our committment to Wellness. Kaleb Roudabush is our Wellness Coordinator. If you visit the campus you will see Kaleb popping in and out of all the buildings. He is our #1 Wellness cheerleader, supporter, encourager, and makes awesome home made ice cream. He not only cares for the physical aspects of wellness but also the emotional and intellectual aspects. He recently presented a program called "Brain University" to our residents. The residents learned about the physiology of the brain, how it works and very importantly how to keep your brain "tuned up". There were presentations, excercises, and group projects. Everyone thought it was very worthwhile and educational. Thank you Kaleb for all you do to keep us all healthy!

One of the things we all enjoy is sharing mile stones with the people that live on The Williamsport Home Campus. Celebrating Life is what it is all about! What is better than a happy occassion to share with your friends and neighbors? Don and Bertie Koons are Residents of The Williamsport Home Independent Living Apartments. They have been married for 75 YEARS!! Congratulations to a wonderful couple!!

The Williamsport Home Apartment Residents Travel Committee keeps pretty busy! Between planning trips and having fund raisers to defer the cost of buses, etc. they keep us hopping. A popular fund raiser is Pizza night. Since many people enjoy the trips they are more than willing to get together for some fun (and some pizza) to help out.

One of the things the campus really enjoys in the summer is having entertainment on the "green". We recently had the Repasz Band come to play for the whole campus. The Skilled Facility Residents enjoyed a family picnic then the concert and the Apartment Residents had hot dogs off the grill and listened to the great music!

We have had some lovely weather this summer, well at least until the monsoons hit! Playing bocci in the sunshine is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon!
