Summary of PCHA Duties:

Oversees the daily clinical and administrative operations of Independent Living and Personal Care units to ensure that each resident receives the necessary care and services to attain physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with their plan of care.

• Works closely with the Executive Team to meet the mission, core values and initiatives of the Facility.
• Responsible for hiring, orienting, evaluating, supervising, scheduling, counseling and disciplining team members.
• Maintains full compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS) regulatory guidelines and is responsible for quality management and ensuring policies and procedures are followed and up to date.
• Responsible for completing required DHS paperwork and staff scheduling.

Requirements of PCHA:

Must be a licensed Personal Care Home Administrator, PCHA

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Must have prior supervisory experience in residential living services. Experience in Personal Care setting preferred.

Prior healthcare experience preferred.
